Help! Is this an authentic T&Co OEC ring?

Hi guys. I have emailed the seller of this ring to find out a little more info. I'm hoping someone can look at the "Tiffany" mark- wondering why the "Irid Plat" is very clear but the "Tiffany" stamp is scratched out? How would this happen?
I just want reassurance that this is an authentic T&Co OEC. I have never noticed a maker's mark scratched out before.. The "Irid Plat" makes me believe that this is a true vintage piece.

The seller just told me that it has a tiny nick on the girdle that is visible under 10X- he said this can be common amongst OECs
Thoughts? Wondering if there's a chance it could get worse or not?

I can't authenticate the eBay ring but I found this 1906 T & Co band online. The Tiffany logo is different. The ring you linked may be real but I thought you should have the info.
