Hi all I just got engaged to the man of my dreams who sank to his knees and surprised me with a beautiful ring.
I said yes!
The ring is a 1.5 ct solitaire e vvs2 ideal cut but has strong blue fluroscence. We had it valued in Australia as he bought it on line. He says the valuation was good butI've not seen it nor the gia cert valuation!
I know it was expensive.
The hca is 1.3 all exec except for Scintillation which is very good.
At times in the sun it glows and looks so so bright. Do you think that the Fluor has reduced transparency?
I am wondering why the ring is so bright. Is it lack of contrast, I can't really see the h and a pattern because of the four prong setting or is it the stone?
Did we get ripped off?
