Help in Finding a Light Green Sapphire for Engagement Ring

I am looking for a light green cushion cut sapphire, preferably at least 1 carat in size for an engagement ring.

I like that 1.29 cushion from NSC, though it does seem rather pricey.

Another thing to chck - email Jeff at Earth Treasury and see if he has any rough in stock that hits your color target. If so, you might be able to get something custom cut for you.

Jeff at Earth's Treasury has been great. He doesn't have any light green cushions, but he does have a light green princess & my girl likes it too. It's cheaper than the others I've picked out AND Jeff has provided amazing customer service thus far.

I think this one is better and more reasonably priced than the others you linked (IMHO). Jeff is great, and I haven't heard of anyone purchasing from him having a bad experience.

have you looked into Australian parti-colored sapphires? They are unique so not for everyone, but they have the light green/yellow hues.

EDIT: I see you have a stone by Doug Menaude in your original post about color. He is seriously the nicest person ever, and has cut many of us stones. Why don't you email him with the color you are after and see if he has any rough that will cut a stone of that color? It can be a little stressful to get a stone custom cut, but Doug makes all of that disappear with his kind and patient approach. So I'd definitely consider that route if I were you. I've purchased 3 stones from him (and I'm in the US), and never had any issues.

I very much appreciate your help. I'm going to be picky here though and say I want a Montana sapphire. Also, I did email Doug and he doesn't have any rough in the color I need!

I'm going to keep on looking.

Jeff Hapeman will give me "first dibs" on it and if I don't like it, he'll list it on his website. I will most likely go with him because he has been outstanding. I also purchased a Oregon Sunstone from him and it is a gorgeous stone. I will be using it in a separate ring for her, and may be used as a temporary engagement ring while I wait for the sapphire (I'm aware sunstone is soft and can't be worn daily).

I haven't asked Jeff White about his policy.
