Help in buying a diamond for pendant

Hello I've been hanging about since last May! I retired in October from my job.. yay!

Perhaps some of you know some of my posts on my desire for a new diamond pendant.. I had a long time ago, an OEC 1.50 diamond, it was probably a F/G color and no visible eye occlusions etc..

My husband has given me the go ahead to find a stone I like to recreate/create a pendant for me.. I am looking at this stone.. I know it's not a OEC but I've watched the GOG videos on their AVR and AVC and I like the cushions better! that surprised me..

Could anyone who can or would please give me their opinion on this stone:

I would like to set it in a 14K semi bezel pendant with a S chain (like my first pendant. :)

thank you so much Andelain. I am seriously considering it.. I wanted an OEC but in watching the GOG video on comparing the two the cushion really sparkled.. I sent an email to Good Old Gold so I await their response.. thanks so much again.

See if they'll make you a video of that one. With that nice white color I'll bet it jumps up off your monitor.

I meant I wanted an old european round cut.. but I saw the video on GOG comparing their AV cushion to the AV round and liked the sparkle of their AVC better.. Again, thanks for your time it's good to get someone else's opinion besides my husband who would much rather I not buy one at all ;-)

If I buy it I will definitely post a few pictures... Pricescope has been invaluable to me for in my quest for a new pendant..

It's a great size for a pendant and while not completely square, it's not long and rectangular either. I think it will be gorgeous!

What type of pendant setting are you considering?
 
Hi MissGotRocks, I am thinking of a bezel setting.. my round pendant was a semi bezel. Not sure if bezel looks as good with a cushion though..?? thank you for your comments.. I just always get my head turned for the older style diamond(s)..

I think bezels look good on cushions. One of the prettiest pendants I've seen was a bezel cushion colored stone hung below a bezeled round diamond.
