Help Identifying Brooch/Necklace

I've recently acquired (through the passing of a cousin) some family jewelry. This particular piece has been hard to identify. I cannot find any markings either. The clasps of the chain fit into the brooch, however, one side is broken. I would like some information on this piece, as I am considering having it repaired/restored.

This is Victorian. The pin closure is a replacement. The gold content needs to be tested but looks to be a combination of rose & yellow. The black is enamel and the center looks to be half a seed pearl. Hallmarks weren’t really enforced until the 1900s, but an appraiser who specializes in antique jewelry could possibly identify the maker and also narrow down a timeframe for its manufacture.

It’s beautiful and Victorian.
In relation to its metal content, it could be pinchbeck. This was a metal created in the 1800s out of brass, copper and zinc to resemble gold. Such pieces are highly collectible.
A jeweller or pawnbroker should be able to test the metal for you.
