Hello

This was with a old box of Jewelry. I cannot find a maker mark. Also there is wear, but I don't see a base metal? Silver?? It is extremely well made, with a lot of detail..
Thank you

It's pretty!
It could be sterling, but usually these items are marked. Without a mark, there's a possibility that it's plated. Have a jeweler test it to be sure. The yellowish discoloring I see in your photos may indicate plated brass.
If it is solid sterling, then it's probably from Mexico. These filigree pieces are traditionally made there.
Either way, it may date to the 1950s-60s.

I’d expect to see a purity mark of some sort - or Hecho en Mexico, or an eagle stamp - if it were made in Mexico. My guess would be the Far East, possibly (though not limited to) Bali or another part of Indonesia. (I have a a bit of silver filigree jewelry given to me by family in Indonesia, in the 1960’s.)

Yes I would say it’s silver and from that part of the world, my Dad travelled over there in the 90s and bought back several filigree brooches and earrings in silver and gold. As a matter of interest they also do beautiful filigree in Portugal, my Mum has a large gold filigree heart purchased over there which is very fine.

I would be amazed if it was not silver given the workmanship involved, these silver pieces were very cheap in the 90s.
In case anyone is interested and for reference here are the two filigree pieces I mentioned.
Earrings are I think Indonesian
