HELP I think I scratched my diamond

I have always heard that it is really hard to scratch your diamond, but I think I managed to do it and only 2 months after receiving the ring of my dreams

I have a 2.3 carat emerald engagement ring that sits pretty high on my finger and I managed to brush the very top of it on an anchor. At first I didn''t think that it made a mark, but I now notice 5 or so tiny scratches on the surface.

HELP! Is it possible for it to have been scratched and if it is, is there anything I can do to fix it?

Sorry to hear this! I'd bring your ring to a local jeweler to have them inspect your diamond to determine if it is scratched. Good luck. I hope it's not a scratched!

Probably not likely - unless you also chipped it and some diamond fragments were dragged across the stone - it usually takes a diamond (or fragment thereof) to scratch a diamond.
