Help! HCA 1.1 but AGS is NOT 0 - light performance concerns?

Hello! My partner and I would like help evaluating a potential center stone.

We found a diamond that scores well on HCA (1.1 with excellent in all 4 categories), looks great in the video (to our amateur eyes) and appears to have good symmetry, but lies slightly outside the AGS/GIA ideal/excellent windows on the Diamond Screener Cut Estimator. I believe it would be an AGS 1. We are wondering how concerned we should be that it doesn't fall within ideal/excellent parameters on the Cut Estimator, in terms of light performance and "sparkle".

Mine has very similar dimensions.

Table 59
Depth 59.6
Crown angle 33.5
Pavilion angle 40.8
HCA 1.2 (excellent across the board).

It’s very sparkly and has decent fire in direct light.

The ASET isn’t bad.

Hello - my jeweler friend (who is remote) obtained these images. Any assistance interpreting them? Thank you!

The last image seems pretty good, if a little off center.
Wow, your stone is very beautiful!! Do you have photos of it in a setting?
Also, no setting pics yet (it's at the jeweler being set!).

Anyways, moral of the story, your stone looks pretty in the videos and pictures, the aset seems pretty decent, you are likely to get a pretty and sparkly stone. Mine, with similar dimensions, was surprisingly firey and sparkly, considering all that I read here on Pricescope about 60/60 stones not having as good of fire and more white light return. At the end of the day, it will depend on how you feel about it when you get your stone. For peace of mind for myself when I bought my stone, I also bought an ASET scope for home use.

Oh, also (if it isn't already obvious), if you click on my pic in the top right corner, it's a gif of my diamond in spot lighting conditions. Really shows off the fire

Awesome!

Here's a video of the stone!

I’m not an image expert, and the pictures are not great, so please take this with a grain of salt ...

It looks to me that there is light leakage in the face up Ideal Scope image at the 11-12 o’clock and 2 o’clock position. It looks like this is confirmed by the ASET, but so hard to tell because the image is so bad.

In the video, I have been looking to see if I can see through the diamond in those spots, but the person moves the diamond around so much and so quickly, and when I pause the video, I end up with the play sign in the middle of the diamond. I do seem to think that I see a consistent dark spot that is consistent with the images ... but I am not sure.

If you can see through the diamond, it is light leakage ... if you get this diamond, please check for that. If you can’t see through it, it should be ok.

Not posting this to rain on your parade! Just looking out for you. I hope it turns out great!

ETA: In the IS image, it could just be the tilt of the diamond and the way of the reflection ... the ASET suggests it could be a uneven contrast area with a bit of leakage in one small spot. I think, lol. Big disclaimer.

Thanks for your help in evaluating!

The person who did the images is not very familiar with IS/ASET scopes and per what I was told in another thread, it looks like the still images were not centered properly. Upon my request a while back, they also took this video: https://imgur.com/a/cbojY04. It looks more symmetrical in this one?

Were they drunk when they made the video? lol

It looks pretty good from what I can tell, but a static image would be much clearer.

Are they using an ASETscope? I can't see much green in the image.
