Hello- I received a round 1.5/ H/ SI2 diamond from Blue Nile, and in many lights it is looking gray/ blue- and it had no flourescnece..... I don't know if it is me being really critical, or if it really is there.... the clarity is based on clouds not shown- Any advice would be great.
That could be the clouds if it looks similar to the stone in the photo Dreamer posted, this one was cloudy due to grade setting clouds we were told.Date: 1/20/2010 11:56:07 AM

Thanks Loreli... I only have about 5 days left. So I m trying to figure out what to do... I found another one, but it has a knot on it- and they said it was not a good choice. I am debating to go down to a VS J to stay in budget... Thoughts?
Knots can apparently be a durability issue in some circumstances but this isn''t the norm as far as I am aware, however a trusted expert would need to inspect the stone such as an appraiser to be sure. If you couldn''t find anything else suitable, you could get this one appraised during the return period if they said it was eyeclean to your standards.Date: 1/20/2010 4:22:05 PM

They said it was ok.... not as bad b/c the knot was in the table. The HCA looks good on it... I don''t mind seeing a teeny tiny spec but I do mind seeing a cloudy gray diamond. I also would not want to purchase it if the knot compromised the integrity of the diamond.
