Help getting CAD lower? Moissanite ring from Tianyu

Hey everyone, I’m currently at this CAD with Tianyu for a 8.5mm OEC ring. I’d like to wear it with a band but a small gap is ok. The top is the inspo CAD and the bottom is Tianyu’s CAD.


I have seen other rings with bigger stones be lower set but we can’t seem to find a way to lower the height. I might have to change my design. Is there a way for me to modify my design to get the height between 6-7mm? Or do I need to change it completely?

So if I'm reading this correctly, the very top was your inspiration and the very bottom is what they sent you?

Notice the cad from T does not match the inspiration cad. That's the first problem. T has turned the shank into some kind of half cathedral. While the top inspirational cad has a flat shank with a prong head. Make T redo their cad.

Sorry for the confusion, the top CAD in white gold was my inspo but I wanted a similar low set design with four prongs and a cathedral. The CAD right below that is what Tianyu sent me. All the CADs I listed below the second paragraph are low-set rings I could use for inspiration.
