Hi all!

New to the forum. Currently shopping for a stone for an engagement ring (a little nervous here! :D) but all the info I've gathered over the past month on the site has been great and very helpful. Currently looking a diamond with these specs and was hoping someone might be able to run it through DiamCalc:

Colour: I
Depth: 62%
Table: 57%
Crown: 34.5 degrees
Pavilion 40.6 degrees
Star 50%
Lower Half 75%
Girdle Slightly Thick (faceted) 4.5%
GIA excellent cut, polish & symmetry
No fluorescence

There are currently no scope images posted, which concerns me a bit, but wanted some pro advice if anyone can lend a hand!

Thanks!!

You should plug the figures into the Holloway Cut Advisor (HCA) tool in the Tools tab at the top of the forum.

If the figure comes out less than 2.0, the stone is worth a look.

Diamcalc will not tell you anything more about your stone that HCA won't. Numbers work, at least a photo?

Unfortunately this is the only photo available at the moment -1238648497.jpg

Looks very promising, I'd be happy to buy without a scope if there were no others available within the pricerange.

It has great symmetry and you can often 'predict' the idealscope from the picture, and that looks great! All the lower halves seem reasonably well aligned, the arrows look good, the star facet triangles all line up.

Thanks for looking! I think I'm gonna take the plunge and order it. Hopefully it turns out to be a stunner, but luckily it can be returned if need be. Fingers crossed for now!

Looks great to me. Please come back and share!
