I have 3 RBC that I want to have made into a 3 stone anniversary ring. The center stone is 1.7 and the side stones are 1 carat each. I saw this setting and I have to have it. The setting was made to have clusters of rounds where the center and side stones would be. It is very hard to find a three stone setting (that isn't custom made) to accomodate my 3 stone sizes. But if the clusters weren't there, my stones would fit perfectly. I asked the jeweler if there was anyway to remove them and set my stones but he looked at me like I had an alien on my head. I didn't know if it was possible or not, but wanted to ask. He said - and I quote, "How do you expect me to do that?" IS it true that cannot be done? Just want to make sure he wasn't lying!!
Anyway the jeweler is trying to hunt down the manufacturer but hasn't been very helpful. It is killing me because this is my dream setting! The stones are set low and the cut down pave goes around the outside of all 3 stones. There is a double pave halo. The outer pave row splits off at the sides to form a delicate split shank with pave extending 1/2 way down. I don't want the traditional halo where the halo goes around every stone individually.
I have looked online everyhwere and can't find it. If you happen to know or have seen anything I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I am assuming I'll be paying $$$ to recreate it.
Thanks
