Help finding smaller Marquise

Hi there,

Been a while since I posted.... Have a good grasp of picking ideal rounds, but when it comes to fancies I need all the help I can get..

I'm looking for a marquise diamond... I know I gotta be careful for a bowtie etc...but would love some of you to narrow it down to 2-3 stones.... Shopping at James Allen...

Dont really have to specific specs....best bang for buck and wanna keep it max 1000 USd for the stone..

It's actually for a pendant necklace... Something simple...
 
I really like #2 (6.87*3.90*2.68) and 3 (7.90*4.03*2.50) from @farrahlyn. #3 has a cavity and so while is lovely in cut, I would eliminate that one leaving #2.

I think you can drop color to G and even clarity a bit as pendant's are observed from a bigger distance than rings.

I added the size in mm after each as there is really no 'standard' size of a marquise.

If you are not color sensitive and have a bit of budget wiggle, this is lovely. I'd jump on this, but then I don't mind L color and love the larger size.

I am actually not totally opposed to a warmer colour if the right deal comes along... However, I have a discount I can use with JA, hence why I wanted to try and buy from them..


I really appreciate you both taking a look for me... If you see any others and have time to share them, I'd appreciate it... I do like #2, as well as that G diamond .....

She will love whichever I choose, so I am flexible...

Not a fan of this one - the bowtie does seem prominent, and quite a bit of mush underneath the table in the areas closest to the points

I do like these options, in order of preference (based on minimal bowtie & amount of liveliness throughout diamond as the video image is rocked back and forth):
