Hi All! Happy I came across this site and I can really use your help. I plan on proposing to my girlfriend in December and am looking for a pear shape halo ring. I am looking to spend no more than $8000-$9000 on the setting and diamond, 58%-65% depth (I'm assuming anything shallower than that wont reflect light well), H color of higher, clarity SI2 or better, and 1.25ct-1.50ct. Here is what I have found on James Allen:

Setting:
She likes a thin band and I really like the "falling edge halo" on this one.

Diamonds:
I like this one but the bow tie is throwing me off, not sure if it will be a problem or not.

Like this one as well but I don't think the inclusions will be hidden.

All help welcomed! Thank you! :D

Pretty sure the 1.5 is not going to be eye-clean. Feeling so-so about the 1.3 due to the faceting pattern.

This one might be worth a look...not really finding anything large in your price range. Just not that many nice ones out there right now.

Edit..oh ask, GOG about this one...its got a pretty decent aset but it is an I.

no aset on this one but you might as well ask about it if you talk to GOG

With no comment on the suggested diamonds - it would be against forum rules - there are several variables to keep in mind for pears. A well-cut pear is often hard to find. So, besides the color, carat and clarity considerations - and you have specified depth - also keep in mind the length to width ratio. Your intended may prefer a ratio of which creates a 'longer' vs. a 'fatter' pear shape, or vice-versa. That will often change light performance, so it is always nice to see light performance images and/or see the diamond in person where possible. In general, the most popular ratios seem to be in the 1.55 to 1.75 range - but fiances vary :)
