Hello again,
Thank you for all the help on this forum finding a good sapphire, I'm happy to say I found one from Gary Braun at Finewater.

Now for part 2, I need to find a jeweler to custom set this gem. From what I read on the forum quality of craftsmanship is key. So does anybody have recommendations as to some good custom jewelers? I think I have a difficult design that I'm looking at, so I guess it needs to be somebody pretty skilled. Please see links to pictures of what I'm trying to do.

Can you upload a screenshot? I don't have instagram

Are you looking for two looks - a solitaire and a wrap? Or for the diamonds to be part of one ring?

I actually don't have Instagram either, so you should be able to view the links. But just in case here's the screen prints. Unfortunately, Instagram has some security to keep from copying their pictures.

I'm not sure what you mean by wrap? I am looking for those side stones on either side of the centerstone. Preferably that off balanced partial circle design, but if not the two side stones in the last link.

As far as the everyday wedding ring, I'll probably do just a band, since I think it will take a quite a beating. Not the curved row of diamonds that are shown in last link.

Is it best to get the band and engagement ring together, so they can be designed to match? Was thinking it could be worn as either or, not necessarily together. (that might be a better question for her)

Question, did she pick these?

The second engagement ring with the square blue center is a great design and there are many jewelers who can make it. I think the first design would be a major mistake.

Yes, I'd consider having the wedding band made at the same time IF you know what she wants. Otherwise, wait and let her try on some with the e-ring.
