I would like to find a round cut diamond (>.80 carat) from James Allen and my budget is about $2500 for the center stone. I would be willing to pay a bit more if I must, but I do not want to spend more than $3500 for the ring in total.

As previously suggested, I would pair it with this setting ($663): http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/pave/14k-rose-gold-pave-knife-edge-lotus-basket-engagement-ring-item-9306

Thanks to everyone on this site for making the most of my (soon to be) engagement!

If you are ok with K color, you can get 0.9 carat.
0.8 carat if J.
<0.8 carat if I.

Talk to your partner about color, and let us know.

Ditto...

I'm sure there are some GIA stones that meet your needs also...
