That's a nice diamond, fits comfy in my budget range, and is about $1K less than the ones I see on GOG. My only fear is that all I know is the dimensions it gives me. Without any new technologies behind it (ASET, etc.), it could be an "ugly" diamond.

I've used Blue Nile before, and I got what I thought was a pretty stone. But now the more I read and learn about different vendors, the more fear I have to do use them again. I was going to a couple months ago, but then I learned about this website and GOG. Since then, I've really started to feel like if I can get the money to buy from GOG, I don't have to worry about it being a dud. I may end up getting something like this at Blue Nile, but I can't shake that funny feeling that if I can pony up for something at GOG, or something nice comes in my price range, it will be worth it.

this is an AGS0 stone...so AGS has graded the cut as 'ideal'. I don't think you have to worry about it being a dud!

I see the cut listed as "good." :?

The report view shows the report has a cut grade of AGS IDEAL 0.

the cut label of good is applied by Blue Nile based on #s alone and not on any physical examination of the diamond. AGS has graded the diamond to have ideal light performance. When buying princess cuts, since GIA does not grade the cut, I recommend AGS if you do not have images or ASET images.
