Hello all, I got a new job and want to celebrate with my first big girl studs. I’m hoping to make it close to a carat, if possible. I’m no diamond expert and don’t require perfection. I would like something of reasonable quality but I don’t want to spend any more than I have to. I’m not offended by pre-owned items. It looks like I could do close to a carat from Whiteflash for $2300-$2500. Anyone have any ideas for options that could get me below the 2K mark? I have seen items I thought might work at Jewels by Grace before. However, I don’t see anything fitting the bill at this moment. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you could throw my way.

Hi waiting,
Here is an I pair within 2k budget and above 1 tcw...
https://www.fourmine.com/diamonds/index/diamonddetail/id/L146010101

https://www.fourmine.com/diamonds/index/diamonddetail/id/PSLOE134

A J pair...

https://www.fourmine.com/diamonds/index/diamonddetail/id/A060093

If you find these good options within your budget, request the vendor for videos where applicable, request for aset / IS images and have them vetted here.
You can also get in touch with IDJ.com and let them know you are looking for PS standard diamonds with your requirements.

Wow to the size of those I stones! I am not familiar with Four Mine. Have they been around awhile?

I haven't bought from them personally but maybe someone else can give you some input on that, but their prices sure are reasonable.

ID Jewelry is another great resource for budgets of all sizes. Be sure to ask for "pricescope quality" and see what they suggest. I am very happy with my GIA XXX stones from IDJ; little firecrackers.

Thanks so much. Can IDJ do the very thin handmade bezel setting like Whiteflash and BGD?

They have a few really great benches that do very beautiful, delicate work (including handmade bezels) - talk to them and specify exactly what you want.
