$1000 or under :o I know, long shot. A friend has a ring she needs a center stone for. The dimensions are .9 ct, 6.29 - 6.34 x 3.75mm and here is a picture of the ring. Thanks for your help!!!

Modern round or antique? You'll need to drop down the colour to a warm O/Z and SI1/I1 clarity to get a 6.0 to 6.5 mm diamond and even then, I'm not sure if you can find one within budget.

it doesn't matter. She likes both.

Does it have to be round? A princess/asscher/cushion/radiant at less than 3/4ct would fit in that head. Then, you could vastly upgrade the quality of the stone.

she is open to princess, asscher, cushion and radiant! yes!

will a half carat fit, you think? I found a couple that were almost 5 mm?

Stone looks blatantly ugly and poorly cut with large dark inclusions even with just regular pictures.

Just throwing it out there - does it have to be a diamond? Maybe she should look for a white sapphire, opal, or another diamond substitute. That budget is quite restrictive. Maybe post at WTB thread in the Preloved forum?

I have another post on the colored stones forum, she would be happy with a montana sapphire or aquamarine!
