Help! Does Anyone Know Where I Can Find This Setting??

Hi There!

I've been a long time lurker here and want to say I thank you to all you PSers for sharing your wealth of knowledge! It's been invaluable information, especially for such an important, sentimental piece in a woman's life.

After being together for 8 years the bf and I have stepped up our search for an engagement ring. I wanted something unique, but still timeless. Nothing really got my heart racing until I happened upon THIS.




I've searched high and low for this setting, but have come up empty. There seem to be similar ones out there...but I've gotten hopelessly attached to this one. I love the dainty look, even though there are multiple diamonds (does that make sense?). I feel sometimes having multiple stones can detract from the center stone but this one just seems to accentuate it. I love the fact that the stones seem to wrap around the finger and almost seem to be floating. Sorry, newbie here...wish I knew all the appropriate terminology! I'm just completely smitten and need your help finding this ring!! Thanks everyone!

You will likely just find your center stone and then have the ring made. It has a antique cushion in the center, and it looks a lot like August Vintage Cushions from Good Old Gold. Then there are side trapeziods next to the center, and then rounds on the shank after that. You could have someone like Engagement Rings Direct make the setting. They sometimes have some small antique cushions as well.

Thanks diamondseeker2006 for your response. You have such a keen eye! It was a GOG youtube video. I wasn't sure if it would be bad form to post his video here so I just played it safe.

I've emailed Marie and she said she could make it custom, but I'm also waiting for quotes from two other vendors (Brian Gavin and Victor Canera). Would you recommend Engagement Rings Direct for a custom job like this? I was just hoping that if I found the original vendor that I could get it a bit cheaper than going the custom route. I've read a lot about GOG and their AVC's and other quality diamonds, but not so much about them making custom settings. Maybe some of the PS'ers can tell me about their custom work?
