Help deciding between 2 diamonds!

I''m having trouble deciding between two diamonds. I just ordered this one for $5500.

Diamond #1


But then I found this diamond, for $4750.

Diamond #2

I checked with BGD and Lesley said diamond #2 is eye clean. What do you think of these two diamonds? What would you recommend?

I’m not sure how important clarity is to me. I’d have a problem with visible inclusions, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra $750 to upgrade from an eye clean SI1 to a VS1. Lesley with BGD said the stone is eye clean, the inclusions are light and that the inclusions don’t affect light performance. Does everything else look pretty comparable for the two stones? Do you see anything else that would be a determining factor?

I’ve got both stones reserved right now but need to make a decision soon and I’m getting confused! Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

So you are not buying the VS1 just for VS1 grade. In that case, eye-clean SI1 is the same as the VS1 without equipment.

All BGD diamonds are excellently cut, you have no worried there.

Yes of course!

I prefer the BG stone for various reasons to include that it is cheaper and I would personally prefer SI clarity if verified eyeclean to VS.

Yap, it looks good from the data available. But so does the JA stone, which is why I ask what you are looking for.
