Hi everyone!

I’m choosing a lab-grown pear-shaped diamond for a pendant and would really appreciate your advice. I personally prefer slighly elongated pears, more or less length-to-width ratio around 1.60. I’m trying to balance shape, sparkle, and value.

Here are the options I’m considering:

Whiteflash 1IGI LG634444185
• 1.50 ct – 10.27 × 6.22 × 4.01 mm
• L/W: 1.65
• Color: D – Clarity: VVS2
• Polish/Symmetry: Excellent – Fluorescence: None

Whiteflash 2IGI LG636468491
• 1.50 ct – 10.24 X 6.38 X 3.95 mm
• L/W: 1.60
• Color: D – Clarity: VVS2
• Polish/Symmetry: Excellent – Fluorescence: None

Whiteflash 3IGI LG561265090
• 1.51 ct – 10.25 X 6.40 X 3.96 mm
• L/W: 1.60
• Color: F – Clarity: VVS1
• Polish/Symmetry: Excellent – Fluorescence: None

Whiteflash 4GIA 1519765569
• 1.55 ct – 10.35 x 6.52 x 4.02 mm
• L/W: 1.58
• Color: E – Clarity: VVS2
• Polish/Symmetry: Excellent – Fluorescence: None

Local Jeweler, a very good guy I trustIGI LG698502133
• 1.41 ct – 9.84 x 6.22 x 3.90 mm
• L/W: 1.58
• Color: E – Clarity: IF
• Polish/Symmetry: Excellent – Fluorescence: None
• I don't have a link but searching on internet it could potentially be this (please confirm)

What I care about most:
• Elegant pear shape (photo for reference)
• Great sparkle/performance
• High color and clean look
• If light performance is almost the same, I would buy directly from local jeweler

Which would you choose based on proportions, certification, and overall specs?
Thanks so much for your help, I really want this to be a beautiful, timeless gift.

Unfortunately, numbers on reports dont tell us enough for fancy cuts. We could pick one by the numbers, and it could
be an ugly stone. You need up-close pictures, videos, aset, or ideal scope images to pick a fancy cut.

Hello! Thank you for your message.

For what concerns Whiteflash, some videos can be seen on their website [Whiteflash X] in the title is actually a link

For my local jeweler, he sent me this video (video quality not great).

I will ask for aset and ideal scope

II think all the WF pears pass the aset/ideal scope test. The 4th one is showing a little darkness through the center, but not sure if
It's enough to eliminate it.

Can your local jeweler get an aset/ideal scope image for that stone you posted?

Did WF call the stones in to get Asets/Ideal scope images? If so, I would ask them to compare the stones and let you know what
they see.

I asked the photos, do you have any recommendation about which one is best?
Whiteflash video (mounted on a ring, but it will be a pendant instead)

Comparison link for whiteflash

Local jeweler doesn't have the diamond in stock, he will order it on demand. He seems to not have the Asets/Ideal scope yet, he just said it's an overkill for a lab diamond and it's pretty much the same for all, he already has the top specs and very good proportions. I am quite inclined to trust him about this, but I am a bit unsure that's the best I can get.
For sure the price is very good, almost half, so I wonder if it makes sense to spend double

P.S.: all the WF pears pass, pass how? With a 6/10 minimum score or good score?

aset/ideal scopes...they all pass. You are looking at the same faceting pattern. You want to make sure the Asets/ideal scope images
are not showing a lot of leakage (for that cut of stone), and they are not showing a lot of leakage. Is there any one stone that looks way better than the others? Not from what I can tell. That's why it is best to ask WF their opinion since they have/had the stones all there together where they could compare and contrast.

Before you made your last post I was favoring WF #3.

When I was looking at the stones on the hand I picked the upper left stone. When I went to see which stone that actually was, it
was also the one I was favoring, so if I was going to pick one, I guess it would be #3 (but I would rather ask WF for their opinion).

Thank you very much for the help.

One thing I didn't specify before and maybe it is important: the pendant will be made of white gold, there will be only 1 diamond (the one I am buying) and it will be positioned with the tip (small end) on top, and the belly (big end) on the bottom.

To be 100% clear, it will be like an arrow pointing towards the sky.

Would this change anything?
Looking with my zero-experience look, I would also consider the #2 because it's very red in the IdealScope image, not sure about #1 but #4 looks a bit too white, what do you think?
Please correct me if I am wrong, I'd like to learn and do a choice I understand logically

Plus, given that my local jeweler doesn't have any IdealScope/ASET image, would you discard it (here a better video)?

thank you!

Yes, this is the typical way to hang a pear on a pendant. It should not make a difference in which pear you choose.

Your local stone looks okay, but I can't comment beyond that since we don't have any images to check on light return.
