If you are referring to Mark at ERD, then I would ask his honest opinion and take what he says--he has an excellent reputation picking out cushions.Date: 12/14/2009 5:03:49 PM

I haven't seen it, I think in order to see it, I'd have to purchase it first since it is in NY and I'm in CA.
Will it be a fireball? I'm not so much concerned with light return as I am interested in a firey stone. It is intended to be an antiquey stone.
Mark said it was an antique styled stone, not a true antique.
sounds like he likes how the stone performs, but just wants to caution you about other aspects of it that may bother you, ie the color of the stone. do you want to put the stone in a halo? maybe you should ask what he thinks of the stone if it''s by itself? we got my cushion from mark and he was awesome to work with! you are definitely in great handsDate: 12/14/2009 6:47:54 PM

''I think this diamond has very good brilliance and would work well in a halo setting.Based on your budget this fits in well. However because we tried to get a 2ct in your budget the color does show up and as a J it is a little warm. Are you ok with this. This is my concern not the brilliance.''
mm so it shows up more like a K? It has strong blue fluoro... as far as I''ve read on the forums, this is supposed to help with the face up color?

It''s supposed to be an antique-ish cut...
