I'm looking at getting my partner some diamond earrings for her birthday coming up in January. I can only find 1 supplier who has got the style of earrings I am looking for, and was looking for approximately 0.25-0.3ct diamonds.
I was ideally looking for certified diamonds (GIA certification), but the cost of the earrings will come to around £1400 for GIA certified 0.3ct Premium cut F colour VS2 diamonds.
The seller has offered some 0.25 heart and arrows, but uncertified. They suggest that the heart and arrows cut will make a better diamond, but I am a bit unsure because of it being uncertified... These earrings will cost £1100. I am leaning a little towards these, as the cut is better and it is cheaper, but I am a little reluctant to save the money if I'd be better getting the certification...
What would you all suggest?
Need to hurry up and get ordering soon if I want them ready in time for her birthday.
