Help choosing between two diamonds and their HCA scores.

Hello there,

I am just about to purchase a lab diamond for my girlfriend, and had trouble choosing between two diamonds to be set in an engagement ring and wanted some opinions.

One has an HCA score of 0.8 and the other of 2.1. Im leaning to the one that scores 0.8, but Ive read that sometimes diamonds that score under 1 aren't ideal for rings.

Here are the listings for the stones:

Option 1 - 1.62ct - 0.8 HCA Score

Option 2 - 1.63ct - 2.1 HCA Score

Any suggestions on which way you would go?

I agree on number 1- I was surprised how nice the images were... the numbers made me think this was going to be a big flat top but it’s not bad. I do think you’ll get more white light than colored light return based on the specs.

I agree, #1 Is best of these two. I am sure you have discussed your gal’s thoughts about lab vs. earth-mined diamonds.
