Hi, I'd really appreciate some help choosing between the below two diamonds. One has idealscope and aset images that dont look very good. I'm not sure if it's a misalignment in photo or just poor cut.

-The enchanteddiamonds stone has an edge on spread. Will this diference in spread yield a noticeable size difference?
-The bluenile stone has an edge of fire, scintillation, light return.

THe BN stone does not show up with your link.
eta - nevermind I see the angles you have. The BN is a bit deep IMO, but I prefer it to the ED. I can't see the spread difference though.
eta 2 - that spread difference will not be visible. So small. Keep in mind the BN has VSB fluor, check with them to see if this negatively affects the stone at all.

Link has been edited, sorry.

Thanks for the feedback.

So the larger diameter and spread will not yield a noticeably larger stone?

What is the effect of a stone that is too deep?

Here is a comparison: http://www.diamdb.com/compare/1.71ct-round-7.76x7.69x4.66-vs-1.71ct-round-7.67x7.64x4.79/
The effect is simply that the weight of the diamond is being hidden in the depth. Imagine an iceberg. If it were less deep, the ice/diamond would be more spread out, giving the illusion of a larger diamond. But this is such a small amount, I HIGHLY doubt you'd notice, unless you had the two diamonds side by side, and even then maybe not.

ETA - in the comparison, my eyes actually think the one on the right is the larger one. But it is the smaller one. Sometimes eyes do funny things like that!

Thanks for that site - it's useful. I agree with you, the right one actually does look bigger to me also.

FWIW BN doesn't have images but you can take the GIA number and cross search it.

Here it is on Enchanted. It shows as Unavailable though so it might be gone. I think the cut is better but would inquire to see if the strong blue fluor effects anything. https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/R171-FQCK3V

Strange, I ran a google search on the gia and the enchanted listing didnt come up. I actually just purchased it on blueile...so hopefully that's why it shows unavailable. Thanks for this. Bluenile was able to confirm the flouresence has no visible effects.

I LOVE the one you picked! It's going to look amazing!
