Hi All,

I recently posted here about a diamond I had purchased with a chipped culet and the decision was unanimous, return it! It's been returned and I'm now back on the hunt with a little more knowledge than I had before (I think). I'd love to have some help finding a new diamond. I'm looking for a round cut, preferably around 0.90 carat. My budget is around $4000 for the stone, give or take a few hundred depending on what I find.

I will most likely be buying my setting from RB, I'm not 100% yet but these are the two that I am leaning towards at the moment:

Both of the settings say that they currently accommodate between 0.90-1.10 carat and 6.30mm-6.70mm. I'm not sure how much that factors in to choosing the diamond, I'm assuming they will adjust the setting to the diamond when it's set?

I've done most of my searching on James Allen. Although it's a little smaller than I wanted, this is the stone I've been leaning towards so far:

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks and also hear some suggestions on diamonds in my price range. Thank you for everyones help with my first purchase and thank you in advance for your help in finding the perfect diamond!
