If you're looking for gemological advice on a purchase you made the first step would be to follow the instructions you see at the top of this thread entitled "template for diamond info". Give us at least Sarin data on your stone and perhaps we can help you out.

Peace,
Rhino

After, I returned to the USA i went on line. Your site is grat, but you don't seem to have much in the VVs1 and above range. I read the views of prior purchasers. They were great but I don't want a SI1 or down stone. Per chance I'm stupid, that why I need help. My eye always goes to the best and mos costly of stones. I don't have a Sarin report only a IGA report dated many years ago. Thanks for your reply. I like your site and probably will call/deal with you.

Pretty pricey stone...but if you love it and say it looks great, does the pricing matter if you already have the stone?

If you think so...I would suggest looking around within your return policy timeframe at a few of the vendors on here.

Note that while VVS1 is top quality...that you can't see any inclusions with your naked eye in even a VS1 stone and you would pay much less of a premium--you are paying a huge markup for the E VVS1 quality. I would knock the VVS1 down to a VS1 and keep the E or make it F..there is literally no difference, both are still colorless. For that same $9600, you could get a SuperIdeal H&A cut in around a 1.15c, probably E VS1. Take a look at some of the stones on Rhino's site, also check out WhiteFlash.Com's 'A Cut Above' diamonds, SuperbCert.Com's stones, DiamondOptics.Com for sites with alot of information on their stones (e.g. Brilliancscope images, Sarin reports, closeup pictures, H&A images, Idealscope images).

Other sites to check out are:
BuyDiamondDirect.Com
DirtCheapDiamonds.Com
NiceIce.Com

Here are a few stones I found in a quick search...not too shabby!! All are larger than your stone (around 1.15c mostly), cheaper than your stone, E VS1 quality or better..and all superb cuts with alot of certification and reporting and HCA scores under 2.0. I would check these out..see the pics etc..and also look at Rhino's site for E VS1 or similar stones..he has some great finds as well as you noted in your post above. Stellar reporting.

Whatever you decide, good luck!
