Hi I am looking to buy and diamond and I am currently looking at a: 1.58ct VS1, G Round Brilliant,
GIA cert: Ex Pol, VG Sym, 7.6mm-7.65mm
Depth 59.4, Table 57
No Culet, No fluorescene

Can you let me know if this is a good diamond.
Is it an Ideal cut.
What price would be good on this. They are trying to sell it for $11,600

I would appreciate any informed advice. Thanks.

The depth and table do fall within the ideal range,
but if you can provide any additional information
like Garry suggests, maybe we could help further.

Thank you for your time. They did let me look at it under one of those Hearts and Arrow scope, and I think it looked really good. Is this what you meant by the HCA and Ideal scope?

I guess you can't tell a good diamond by just looking at it and the GIA cert?

Again, Thanks!!

Doc, the tutorial and cut advisor sections on the menu at the top of your screen will tell you what Garry and Kirk are talking about.

Hi everybody,

The diamond that I posted before, for some reason they do not have crown angles/pavillions. But based on that price, is it worth it?

Second Diamond: (Have the angles)
It is a : 1.42 ct, G, VS2 measuring: 7.26x7.3x4.47
Depth: 61.4%, Table 56%

Holloway CA: states it is GOOD/Good/Good, spread is VERY GOOD, overal score 3.7.
Is this one worth $9748?

Thanks everyone.

Check the price stats by clicking the link up top and see if the price per carat is in the ballpark.
