Hi All,

Can you please help me interpret this ASET? It is clearly not ideal but I am not sure what the effects on real world performance will be. It is from an AGS000 stone.

Thanks for the help.

Where is this from? AGS report?

Looks like some mistake in the scan or rendering of the computer generated ASET.

Hi Mak,

I''m just curious what the vendor defined "AGS000" as. I don''t want to hijack your thread, so I started another one here to in an attempt to clarify that term.

This is definitely a computer generated scan which is a light map of the stone, it is possible the scan didn''t take clearly but it would be useful to have all the info on the diamond if you could post it.

Numbers are in and HCA = 3.4.

62.1% depth
57.5% table
35.5° crown angle
40.9° pavilion angle
Thin to slightly think girdle and pointed culet.

Is this stone to deep to be considered or do you think it has potential?

Not necessary. HCA is only a two dimensional rejection tool with only 4 inputs.

With those angles, a larger lower facet number will be able to prevent leakage. An actual ASET/IS image will help to make sure.
