EGL so the colour and clarity are likely to be H/I SI by AGS/GIA standards.

Numbers look fine, though angles are better. Can you get images of the stone and IS?

ETA: you need a hearts image to prove true H&A

Ditto.

Hi Stormie

An independant appraisal would be essential if you want to buy this diamond, have you seen any GIA graded stones you like for the budget? Is it for sale online or from a store jeweller?

The price is VERY low for its purported grade. EGL is known to be loose in its grading of color and clarity, which is not in and of itself and issue, but it makes it very difficult for consumers to know if they are paying a fair price for a given diamond. The price being so low makes me suspect that the report is off a lot in color and or clarity. Diamonds are sold for what they can command on the market, and if that diamond was worth more to the vendor they would sell it for more.

Now all of this does not mean it is not a good option for you. But be sure you see it in person and are happy with the color and clarity, and also have it appraised loose by a truly independent appraiser who can tell you what its "true" color and clarity are so that you can assess the price being asked.
