Help! 1.5 ct round brilliant right-hand ring ideas?

Hello !

I have been racking my brain on some reset ideas and coming up short so I wanted to reach out to the experts!

I have an absolutely gorgeous round 1.5 ct Whiteflash ACA diamond currently set into a 3 stone ring (0.25 ct sides). After my divorce, my engagement ring has been sitting in my jewelry box, but.:::this beauty deserves to see the light of day !

I know a 3 stone can be worn as a right hand ring but am needing a fresh start as every time I look at this ring and setting I am reminded of the past…

So what to do? I’ve scoured the internet for right hand ring ideas that don’t look like a classic engagement ring but with a single diamond of this size I’ve really struggled. I already have a solitaire pendant so that idea is also out. And unfortunately matching it to a twin to create 1.5 carat stud earrings just isn’t in the budget

I would love any and all ideas!

During my time with PS I have had a uprong 5 stone with .40 pinters, uprong 5 stone with .30 pointers, and open trellis graduated 5 stone with larger 1.52ct center.

2. Being an admirer of @MakingTheGrade & @Dandi 5 stone rings; wanted a slightly graduated 5 stone.

A bezel setting for a right hand ring or middle finger ring for the left hand.
 
save the two small stones for a future project; the large stone in a center, surround by smaller semi precious stones. pick a color you like and something not too 'soft'. You could get lots of ideas from Yvonne Raley's site
 
3ctw stud earrings using a 1.5ct lab stone with similar specs as your 1.5ct ACA, and use the 0.25ct side stones for second piercings (if you have them).
 
I know this is a modern stone and my suggestions tend to lean a bit “old” but I like the idea of an interesting halo: either a fun shape diamond halo, or coloured stones or a gold “halo”. Like here’s some inspo pics of what I mean:

You haven't said what style you like? Are you looking for something with a modern or antique vibe? I know it's an MRB but not sure that limits you to modern settings.
