Hello everybody! I'm new here and your forum and site is lovey. Small back story, lol. I love love love antique/vintage looking settings and such for rings (mainly engagement/wedding). It's just magical to me, I don't know..haha. When I got engaged 6 yrs ago my husband gave me a beautiful green diamond in a nice diamond/white gold setting. long story short...i lost it =(...for almost 2 years! During that time, my husband had already gotten me a new engagement ring and all was well. Through much prayer and just a miracle..I found my original ring!! I don't wear it much but it was my original and the main stone holds most precious meaning to me. I'm not feeling the setting though and my husband says we can start to look at a new setting to place the green diamond in so i can maybe switch off and wear it if i wish and so on.
So, forever i've been looking at Fay Cullen's site cause those style's...omg, amazing. Exactly what I love. And I would want a replica or "style" of the antique, not the ACTUAL antique and that's just a personal preference due to a whole karma/energy/past life/history as rings are personal with people and ive had experiences and would rather just keep something like that with it's own history and make whatever ring i get fresh/mine and connected with me solely from the start. So I like they offer that option along w/ whatever true antiques they may sell along in the company too.
However...since I've been looking around on here a small bit before joining...i have seen some normal/good/regular reviews but much more negative and scary one as far as the items themselves and quality, policies from the company, returns and some super nastiness just w/ the ppl and the ways they do things there. I don't know the full detail of it all of course as i just browsed but got a not-so-cool gist of it, lol.
My question is, is there any other companies kinda just like Fay Cullen in terms of the ring designs/antique style/replica type? I'm not looking to spend more than what Fay Cullen has listed in price, even cheaper would be better but not a bunch more of course. I will leave a link to the ring set (yes i like the band w/ the e-ring setting too and would want it as well).
If anyone knows a company that sells a set almost/super similar to this or could copy this set for not a crazy higher price tag then this actual Fay Cullen one, I would super appreciate it! I really loooove that set so much but am so afraid to purchase from her and this would be a huge investment for us personally and really don't want or need the stress or trouble if god forbid i get a bad experience like some ppl on here and other random review sites
Just so torn as when i see something i truly love and touches me i want it. i would bend a bit in small details and tweaks here and there but this style set is perfect to me.
