Who "hello" from a new gal

Hello Pricescope World! After poking around various threads here, I decided to make an account! I hope you are all having lovely days!

What drew me to PS is my hunt for the perfect stones for my engagement/wedding bands! I have created a design for both rings (as well as a ring for future husband lol) but through hours and hours of research I have found that I have quite particular tastes when it comes to the stones themselves... so I figured it would be best to reach out and get help from all of you lovely people who have MUCH more experience than I do. So keep an eye out, I'll be making some other posts with questions and advice soon!

Anywho, I am a lover of all things shimmery and shiny (opals and moonstones are my BIG FAVS), but I've also grown to love sapphires once I saw that they can come in a rainbow of colors outside of the stereotypical blue! I'm looking forward to fawning over lots of pretty stones and jewelry with you all!

Ahh thank you so much!! My boyfriend and I will have been together for 5 years come the end of February, and we've known for a long time that marriage is where we wanted to go.

2020 was rough, and while I occasionally daydreamed about what I'd want out of my engagement ring, I finally decided that, hey it's a new year, it would be a good idea to actually plan it out so we can start saving up for it!

I know that what I'm trying to do involves quite a bit of work, so I think planning ahead can only help me at this point lol
