Heirloom jewelry project

A long time ago I posted pictures of my jewelry collection, which included an emerald and diamond bracelet of my grandmothers. My grandmother just passed away this past Monday and to honor her memory, as well as to keep a part of her with me, I''m in the process of turning the bracelet into a ring. DH and I took it to our jeweler yesterday to get an estimate on how much it would cost to turn it into a ring and it''s very reasonable. He said that by the looks of it, it was once a ring that was turned into a bracelet. It''ll take a few weeks to finish, but I''m very excited about it. I miss my grandmother dearly and can''t wait to have this ring to wear and remember her, as well as to pass on to our future children.

Here is a not-so-great photo of the bracelet (and her diamond star burst broach that I may do something with). I''ll post pictures of the ring as soon as I get it.
