I loved Heath from the second he hit the screen. He really just commanded attention.

Is it weird to say I miss someone that I never knew? That''s how I feel when I think of him, for the same reasons that you mentioned, Crooked.

If it is then we can be weird together.
Just seemed like such a down to eath person, prob bc he stayed out of the media. He used to live in SoHo about 2 blocks from my FI when he was there. I always kinda hoped I would see him. I''ve never been star struck in my life, but I think he could have done it to me.

He really was a most exceptional person albeit one with obviously many personal demons. There was an article here a few months ago by his Dad talking about the different sides to him. He was an exceptional chess player and every place he went to he would seek out the old men playing chess and join them. He was incredibly musical and artistic but he hated the fame part of his success.
His father called him hi "beautiful boy'' and those words were so poignant to me.
He was utterly brilliant as the Joker as he was taken from us far to soon.

All three of us have to be weird together. I sometimes get pangs thinking about what roles he could have played, especially when I watch his movies and catch myself waiting for his next one. I fell for him in "10 Things I Hate About You", and loved watching him develop as an actor. It''s sad that he died at what ended up being the height of his career, but can only be called that because he wasn''t able to take more roles and develop further. The places he could have gone as an actor are astonishing.

TLH,
I am with you on not thinking Brad is so hot now. I used to think he was awesome, but after what he did, he doesn''t look too good to me anymore

I agree. After what he did to his wife, he just doesn''t do it for me anymore.
I think Jennifer Aniston did a great job, and she was beautiful as always! I think she is way prettier than Angelina

Heath was awesome as the Joker, he deserved the award for sure!

i am sure i''m in the minority, and will probably get slammed for this, but here it goes. i''m sure heath ledger deserved his oscar win, i didn''t see the movie, but have heard he was great. what i find a little strange is how he is so revered now after his death. he died of drugs, he deprived his very young daughter of having her father in her life. i wonder how great a father he was while he was doing his drugs? he made a choice that cost him his life and will affect that little girl for the rest of her life. he made a good movie, does that make him a saint?
You obviously need to see the movie before saying anything. He deserved it 110%. The award he got was for his ACTING. If all awards were based upon acting AND how people went about their lives- no one would get an award--- not even you

But really, I see what you are saying, but without you seeing the movie you really don''t know what you''re saying. He deserves it. His performance was top notch and creepy and great!

So what. He did drugs. Are people not allowed to make mistakes? Yes, even people with children make stupid mistakes. I don''t think it''s right, but the award was for acting, not the Father of the Year Award.
