Last year Hearts on Fire Diamonds booth was much smaller and modest but they had commotions there all the time.

Each time they made a sale they rang a bell and everybody cheering.

This year I haven’t heard the bell ringing but their pavilion was much bigger. Hopefully Hearts on Fire diamonds are doing great.

If it's for trade only, to whom are they selling?

Does the bell ring for each distributer signed up?

Why? This is just our opinion, but it seems to us that HOF doesn't deserve to be held in the lime light here on PS. The corporation restricts the sale of their diamonds on the internet. The corporation restricts the price that their diamonds may be sold for and threatens their vendors with the loss of their dealerships and/or restricted supply of their merchandise if they are caught selling HOF merchandise below the "recommended" (STRONGLY, STRONGLY "recommended") price structure... And the production isn't even consistent... How can a person sit there and tell people that their diamonds are "the best" when the polish and symmetry is often only Very Good? It seems clear to us that their advertising campaign tends to mislead consumers by telling them that a HOF diamond will face up larger than other round brilliant cut diamonds because theirs is cut properly, yet it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a poorly cut diamond which is cut to spread proportions would face up larger than a properly cut ideal cut diamond and it leads people to believe that an ideal cut HOF will face up larger than any other ideal cut diamond which is a completely inaccurate statement... Working with HOF in a cooperative effort to sell diamonds was like working with the mob, they were constantly threatening us with fear tactics because we were selling diamonds to customers outside of our geographical zone, but the reality is that we were being contacted by customers from other regions who had already met with their local HOF dealer and they simply didn't like the way that dealer did business, price didn't have anything to do with it because we were maintaining the "recommended" HOF price structure... We all but had to file a complaint against them with the FTC for price control to be released from our contract without being fined for surrendering the dealership... Why would you specifically promote this brand of hearts and arrows diamond here on PS Leonid? Seems a bit odd to us when there are vendors who sell what we consider to be stronger brands of H&A diamonds who also advertise and contribute to the forums here on PS. What's up?

I guess so. They might have to buy some amount for stock but I'm not sure.

R&T, You don't read between the lines (or my mind)

I just post some of my notes from the show. I'm going to post a few more things about other diamonds or jewelry. Please do not consider it as promotions for those companies (I'm not paid for doing it). I just want to share something I found interesting. After all, this is very impressive show.

I have no intention to promote anybody. As for Hearts on Fire, in particular, you can run a search on this forum to find out what people say about the HonF diamonds and their prices.

HonF is not the only one with territorial and pricing policies. Many brand names have this. I'm not excited about it either but this is how the industry works.

R&T, There is another thing to consider. As more Hearts on Fire will spend promoting their diamonds, more people will learn about Hearts and Arrows in general.

They will go to the internet to get more information about it and some will end up buying from you or other smaller companies specialising on H&A diamonds.

Sort of piggy back riding for you guys

I agree here with Todd at NiceIce , HOF is not good for the public. They dont have anything special. The end results is the consumer gets the short end of the deal , I wont promote a product that does that. Those are my thoughts.

What about Tiffany Ice?
Surely they help the industry overall, and their stones are way off wonderful.
I have never closely examined a HoF, but think they are probably a damm sight better than 70% of the Tiffany goods I see.

And this thread is stored in the search file and will be found by hundreds of "would have been" HoF buyers
