I apologize if this is a dumb question, but how do you know if a stone is H&A?

Is there a way of calculating which stones will show H&A, or is it only for stones which have labeled or graded that way?

I don't get it.

Also, if I have a GIA certified ideal cut with Excellent (TIC) HCA score, does that mean is will also be a H&A stone? If not, is there some way to figure out mathematically whether or not a stone will show H&A?

the only way to check is to view it in H&A scope. Not all AGS0 or GIA ex/ex have H&A pattern.
