I have been doing some research and I am a bit confused and untrustworthy of sale pitches. I have been looking at Hearts on Fire diamonds and they are very nice. But I went to a wholesaler in my town and they told me that Hearts and Arrows is the same diamond as Hearts on Fire. So basically, is Hearts and Arrows a imposter of the true ideal and most perfect cutt diamond?? I have read a huge amount of information on both rings and I believe that Hearts on Fire is just a patented name brand of which only a certain jewelry store can use. Am I wrong?? Also, I know that there are some false diamonds that proclaim hearts and arrows but yet there are truly no real hearts but mere attempts to make a heart. So I do know that I have to inspect the diamond before I buy it. I just want to know if I should believe that the Hearts and Fire and Hearts and Arrows are the same diamond just different brand names.

you are right that it is just a name brand for the same thing but you are also right to be careful because some places have far less strict standards for their "hearts and arrows" diamonds.
bottom line: make sure you are very well educated and trust who you end up buying from
good luck

welcome to ps!

hearts on fire (hof) is a brand of hearts and arrows (h&a). they are beautiful, well cut diamonds that display the h&a effect. they are not the only brand of h&a and are not necessarily the best. any diamond that displays a true (not malformed hearts or wonky arrows) h&a pattern can be called h&a. the imposters are the diamonds marketed as h&a that only show some semblance of hearts or arrow shapes. even though (in my opinion) there should be more stringent guidelines on what makes a diamond h&a, there''s not. anyone can call a diamond h&a. it is the duty of the consumer to learn the most they can about their purchase and make an informed decision.

Hearts on Fire is a brand name. You''ll find them at a certain jewelry chain. They''re an ideal cut and beautiful. However, in my humble opinion, they''re also overpriced.
