Hi!- I noticed that the HCA scores are estimated based on a girdle size of 1.4%. Would a 4% girdle size alter these numbers? Are medium to slightly thick girdles undesirable for a diamond?
Thanks!
Medium to slightly thick is fine. It might alter the HCA, but all minor facets are important. The HCA alone is not enough to tell whether a diamond is any good; it's purpose is to determine which diamonds are most likely to be worth further investigation.
