My WF ACA 3.366ct stone has been cut and I plugged in the HCA specs and it came out to 1.5, which is still good, correct? It's been a while since I've been looking at HCA scores but from what I remember, 1.5 is still very good. I guess part of me is second guessing that it should be higher! :D

Anything under 2 is fine. 0.5 is not better than 1.5.

Thanks....I'm just being paranoid

If its an ACA I'm sure it will be stunning!

Just curious - did they have this stone cut specifically for you? It sounds beautiful!!

Wow, how exciting!!! :appl: Just FYI, you don't use the HCA on Whiteflash ACA's or any AGS Ideal cut stones. The purpose of the HCA is to narrow down the broad category of GIA Excellent stones to help find the best ones. The HCA is a screening tool, and you'd still want to have light return images on the stones that score under 2. ACA's are always cut to have strict ideal cut specs so you never need the HCA for those.

Thanks for the info, diamondseeker2006. I've had a 7 year hiatus on PS so I feel like a newbie (!!)

Will be very eager to see your new stone - I'm sure it is gorgeous!!

That is going to be one amazing, icy white ACA! :appl: So how will you set it? :naughty:

I have smaller ACAs in projects that I've done with WF, I'm super excited to see what this stone looks like in person!

It is going to be fabulous.

Oh geez, this is gonna be a glow ball, fire show! Can't wait to see pictures! How will you set it?

Thanks marcy! It will take several weeks before the ring is done and I'm already impatient!

It will be in a basket setting with double claw prongs and ACA diamonds on the crossbar. I'm also going to go with euroshank because my finger is smaller than my knuckle.

I can't wait to see the hand shots! Please come back when you get it! That stone is huge and high quality :appl:
