Hello everybody,

Just curious if anyone would by a diamond that was in the "very good" range on the HCA scale. I found a couple diamonds that are outside the 0-2 range, but they have very good table and depth percentages and pretty good pavilion and crown angles... Like 35 and 40.5

They just barely miss the excellent mark, and I think I might be able to get a steal here on price. Any risk takers out there? (I haven't seen them in person, but have on the site)

Depends on the numbers and which lab grades it. Also if idealscope image is available.

Just from viewing the images, the first one looks better than the second one. The second one looks like it has more
leakage. Can you get an idealscope image?

I haven't got an idealscope image yet on them, but I will. I think you are right though as far as which diamond will perform better. Do you think you can tell a size difference in .10 carats?

First one 6.72 x 6.69
Second one 6.87 x 6.81
mm difference = 0.15 x 0.12

Try drawing out what 0.15 mm looks like and you decide if that makes a difference to you. It's practically a dot.
