Have a newbie question about 14k yellow gold

Hello! My fiance got me a 14k yellow gold engagement ring with a solid gold "stone", so I'm looking for wedding bands.

My question revolves around the color match for 14k gold. I know that gold is a mix of metals-- but is one 14k yellow gold color the same as a 14k yellow gold ring from anywhere else (assuming the finish is the same)?

I'm probably buying online, and trying to decide if I should stick to the same designer to ensure the color matches, or buy from another designer. THANK YOU!

Gold color can vary depending on how they mix it. I did speak to my local jeweler before and they said if you bring a piece in they can always match the color.
