HAS ANYONE TRIED SIDESTONES AS BAND?

HEY LADIES, ITS BEEN A LONG TIME. I COME AND VISIT BUT DONT POST AS MUCH ANYMORE SINCE I BECAME MRS. LOL

I JUST CAME UP WITH THIS GREAT IDEA TO RESET MY E-RING. ITS NOT AN UPGRADE AT ALL. ITS JUST WORKING WITH WHAT I ALREADY HAVE AND SWITCHING IT UP A BIT.

I HAVE A RADIANT SET IN SQUARE- ( WANT TO SET IT TO RADIANT)
I ALSO HAVE 2 HALF CARAT SIDESTONES. (I WAS THINKING OF SETTING THEM ACROSS TO MAKE A BAND.)
I HAVE A MICRO PAVE BAND I WAS THINKING OF ATTACHING IT TO IT. I WISH I HAD COULD ATTACH THE PIC BUT IM HAVING A HARD TIME,

are you looking for just one ring? it sounds a bit too much going on for me personally, but if you love the look then that is all that matters, Have you thought about maybe resetting some stones into bracelets or earrings or in a pendant? Have you talked to a benchjeweler and see what they say? I''m sure attaching the band wouldn''t be a problem maybe they would solder the rings together, but if you wanted a more put together look then remaking the whole ring would make more sense, just a thought.

I just want to take the 2 sidestones and try to make a band out of them. I want to go back to a solitare look.

I think the sides look a little big for a band. They might make good earings. Or you could add three more and make a five stone

You can definitely do that. It sounds like you''d like to use your sidestones to make a ring wrap with. Take a look at this link. I was confused for a second myself, but yes you are talking about making a diamond enhancer out of your side stones so that way you can wear your solitaire with just a band or put the enhancer on. Sounds nice!

But if all else fails I would do like dreamer_d and do earrings or a delicious 5 stone.
