I love them, and I would love to DIY them. I just dont know where to start! Thanks!

They look like they would be fairly easy to DIY! This is how I would go about it...

I would draw out the fan pattern that you like on the computer using paint or some other simple drawing program. This might take a few trials of printing it out and getting it just the right size.

Then I would insert the image into a power point file and replicate it as many times as you can fit onto a regular sheet of paper. You would need to make a text box and rotate it. To do this click on the text box a little green thingy will pop up, if you put your mouse over that the pointer will turn into a circular arrow thing. Just click on that and drag the mouse to rotate the text box to the correct angle for your names.

Then print this document out onto the paper you want to use for the escort cards.

Since there isn''t a back view I can''t tell if the cards are one layer or two. If I were making them I would make them double layered so you would need to print out a set of blank ones for the backing.

Then you could attach the lace edging to one side of the fan and then glue the two sides together. I''m not familiar with all the different kinds of glue but I can imagine that if you use it sparingly or use glue dots it might work out just fine.

As for the holders... I have no idea. Maybe you could use wine bottle corks halved with slits in them?

Sorry if this is rambling but I hope it helps a little!

Also if you wanted the same look but less work you can use paper doilies (spelling?) to edge the fans instead of lace. Won't look as pretty but definitely a lot easier. Also to make it even easier I'd make sure the fan circumference matches the paper doily.

I second c-tek and would sandwich the trim between 2 fans.

Also I see that there is a scalloped/wavy edge on the fan circumference. Buy the "fancy edge" scissors from a craft store. You should be able to find it in the scrap booking section.

THanks for the suggestions ladies. Definitely 2 sides necessary to cover the trip. I will let you know how it goes!
