Has anyone owned a Doberman ?

Elrohwen, thanks...I would hope to get a dog from the Spca or a rescue, so unfortunately the cropping/docking will most likely have alrady been done. I wouldn''t buy from a breeder who didn''t allow me to make that decision because, like you, I am totally against it.

Todd, cute story I also have a fondness for pit bulls...I am not sure I would set out to own one myself (although I wouldn''t say no if one found me

), but I know they can make wonderful pets with the right owners.
