I'd suggest cutting off each of the 3 diamond set sections and laying them over a domed necklace to fix them in place from behind. The jeweler would have to determine the best way to attach them and to finish off the cut off ends of each piece so they don't poke you or look raw. It wouldn't be a big deal, but there is labor and experimenting involved. It might make you happy, or maybe not. It is difficult to determine without cutting the ring apart. I would not try to suspend them from a light chain with one or more bales. That won't look very good.
A good jeweler would be able to tell quickly what to suggest and how it can be done. You need to find just the right necklace that is wide enough, yet not overly large for the pieces.
