Harry Winston Prices?

Does anybody know how much a 1ct., diamond ring costs in Harry Winston? something like H-G/VS2-VS1. I know they only carry min. 1 ct., so wondering if I can handle the price

. Also, do harry winston have their minimun quality of colours and clarity, like Tiffany&Co. (I/VS2) does?

No idea. But I would guess that you can start by looking at Tiffany prices and assume that HW prices are more than even that.

Winston carries only top-end stuff, and you will pay through the nose for it. I have not shopped there myself (I wish!

) but their mark-up is indeed higher than Tiffany's. You're paying for that "jeweler to the stars" cache, after all.

J/K and obviously no offense, but I think this is how it works in those ultra-posh places. I guess prices would be slightly higher than Cartier ot Tiffany.

But, as Ben pointed out, they're jewelers to the stars, aren't they?

I'm curious. I know that everyone has a particular taste, and I can totally respect that. However, why would you want to pay those "HIGH" retail prices when you can find a quality diamond online through one of many internet companies? Just curious.

Run an archive search on Harry Winston and you will find others have asked this similar question--I think there was data gotten by Optimized in the past who called HW and just asked straight out how much their stones start at (a novel idea I know!).

If you're not a celebrity or rich enough not to care, then of course it's the same reason people buy Tiffany---it's the name, baby!

I am sure thisw doesn't help you much but i went to Tiffany's the other day and I was shown a 2.27 ct VS1 I emerald cut with platinum band for 23,900.
