Long story short - I've always hated holidays and my birthday for several reasons. This birthday was nothing short of AMAZING! It begun with an adorable bear and yorks from DH. At work my cube was decorated with balloons, cards and my coworker bought me a new Hello Kitty Cowgirl to add to the collection. Not to mention a Costco cheesecake in the fridge for me - YUM!!!!! My inlaws called to wish me a Happy Birthday. Just a month ago my FIL made some assumptions that were far from the truth and called me with a very nasty and hurtfull phone call. I emailed them my feelings and thoughts then just figured they'd forget about me. But they didn't 
(happy tears). My mother gave me a check for my dental work as a 'Happy Birthday" and she also went out and tried to find me new seat covers for my car. She never buys frivolous gifts (hence the check for my dental work). She considers seat covers frivolous. AND.....DRUM ROLL.....our budget for my B-day/5 year anniversary gift was small this year. I went into Jareds to see a friend and found this setting with all my favorite things on it. A halo, baguettes, white gold and lots of attention to detail and within budget. *sigh* I'm still floating on cloud 9
