Oh, it sounds like it was TOO cool up there. No, down here was "picture perfect" weather, the VAST majority of this summer. Average temps in the mid to high 70''s-low 80''s, with no humidty. Unheard of, especially in Aug. I don''t ever remember having the windows open more than having the air on in the summer here. I could take this for the rest of my life.Date: 9/8/2009 7:37:06 PM

El, I agree that it''s been *pleasant* but don''t you feel even a little gypped out of summer? I had quite a tan going in June and it''s so long gone I can''t even remember what it looked like.![]()
OK, so here I am in Michigan spending the night in this tiny town before my final interview tomorrow and all I can say is, Toto, we ain''t in Kansas any more!!! Wow. Unless NOTHING else comes through I can''t imagine I will take this job. Not the that position isn''t a good one but right now I live literally seven blocks from the Sears Tower and this is just a leeeeetle too far out here! The good news is I was called by another internal recruiter from the major bank about a different position too so I''ll be interviewing for both of those later this week once I get back to civilization.

i feel cheated out of summer too, although the weather has been wonderful, it''s not enough to swim in our non-heated pool. usually we are still in the 90''s/100''s right now with plenty of swim season left. but, ellen, I''m with you, if this is global warming, I''ll take it, and just get a pool heater![]()
oh and ditto E, knowing you dee jay I don''t think you''d be happy with the MI job long term at all.
